I would like to write an article on catch a child being good. There are sveral newspapers in the area that I would like to contact. I would also like to collect more material from the library or other books etc., to gather more information.
The newspaper article and the idea of having workshops for parents that are experiencing behavior problems from their children. I would like to be a facilitating factor to help parents with issues that are frustrationg etc.,
The newspaper entitled "catch your child being good" Then at a later time have workshops, and programs developed around this subject.
Catch your child being good would entail providing a child with compliments, a behavior chart to track the child's behavior, provide a reward or an extra privildge, use it as a learning tool, supply meaningful language to children to decrease negative behaviors for the parent to use, and to provide specific skills to enchance a child's performance. A child's behavior can be shaped, reinforced, and specific behaviors will be extinguished. Specific behaviors that are being extingushed can be on the rise before it decreases. The rei nforcement schedule can be immediate, intermittent, continuous, fixed, or on a ratio schedule. Behaviors in children can be developed with setting specific structure with positive and negative reinforcement, or negative consequences. Arguements, disagreements, compliancy can occur in an increasing amount of times.
My next step is to write the article with the knowledge that I have and to research additional material. The material that I research might be able to be used with me practicum class.
That is all for now.

List of possible clients, and organizations
I have been brainstorming to come up with a possible client based business.
I am interested in working with parents. Parents, who require additional support, resources, additional ideas, and skills to bettter enhance thier current situation as a parent. I would like to have group coaching. Then, I began to think about where will I get all of these parents.
I have developed a possible list of people and organizations:
1. Speak at a PTO meeting at schools; where parents already are congregated at.
2. Judevine Center for Autism. I worked as Judevine for 7 years.
3. Pediatricians
4. United Way
5. Library for the service directory of non-profit organizatins
6. Y.M.C.A, YWCA.
7. Write an article in the newspapers.
8. Contact my college, or other colleges that may require some additional resouces as to have the addition of a life coach.
9. Contact social workers, counselors, doctors, and psychologists.
10 Possibly contact my place of work to discuss any after , evening, outpatient services with a life coach.
11. Girl scout troops, boy scout troops
12. Church organizations.
13. Sporting events for children, such as little league.
14. Recreatinal facilities geared towards the beneficial growth of children.
15. Red cross.
16. Therapeutic horsemanship.
17. Dreamworks ranch.
That is all that I can think of for now. I will continue to brainstorm on new ideas.
