The following ideas will be in the reinforcement workshop:
1. Shaping; Compliment the child for all of the things that the child is doing good; catch the child being good.
2. differentially reinforcement; compliment the child for every step towards the desired actions of the child.
3. extinguish; ignore the actions of the child that are disruptive/undesired actions, but do not ignore the child.
4. Remember the actions of the child that you want to extinguish will increase before they are completlely eliminated.
5. fixed ratio reinforcemnt: reinforce the child on a fixed schedule every time a desired action occurs.
6. intermittent reinforcemnt; the childd will be given a reinforcemnt at varies times; that will be unexpected to the child.
7. continous reinforcement; reinforcing the child without a fixed or intermentent schedule; the child will be reinforced on a regular basis without pause.
8. have a list of reinforcing items for the child. Individualize the list.
9. identify which reinforcement system will work best for the child.
10. have a reinforcement chart; system for which the child can visibly see the progress for which the child is making.
11. identify the terms for which the child will be reinforced, how, what time frame, when, etc.
that is all for now;
